Framing Options Explained
Paul James usually releases limited editions of his paintings in both paper and canvas options, described in more detail here together with our framing options. Over time, as editions sell out, our website is updated accordingly.
- 1) Giclée Paper - Mounted ready for you to frame (pictured far left) - This option will arrive to you cellophane wrapped, presented with an off white double mount ready for you to just add a frame of your choosing at your local framer. The overall size quoted include the image itself, the area with Paul’s signature, title and number, and the surrounding mount.
- 2) Giclée Paper - Framed with our own optional black polished wooden frame (pictured middle left) - This option will arrive to you mounted, framed and ready to hang. Our choice of off white double mount and striking black high gloss frame suits Paul’s artwork magnificently. The print will be protected behind glass within the frame and hand signed and numbered by Paul.
- 3) Giclée Box Canvas - Ready to hang (pictured middle right) - This option will arrive to you pre-stretched over a quality wooden box structure, hand signed and numbered on the front and strung ready to hang. Our box canvases are gallery wrapped, which means that the sides of the box canvas are black in colour, giving the image a "framed" appearance when viewed from the side.
- 4) Giclée Box Canvas - Framed with our optional matt black wooden frame (pictured far right) - This option is as above but we then set it into a chunky matt black wooden frame, again hand signed and numbered on the front and ready to hang. Our frame has a slight 'wood grain' texture which looks superb.
